Join us for the Advent Worship Series: Words for the Beginnings featuring Sanctified Art, where we explore Advent as a profound season of endings and beginnings. Just as Mary embraced hope in a God renewing all things, this series invites you to discover the transformative power of beginnings.

Friday Evening Bible Study with Rev. Dr. Bernadette Glover
Dr. Glover is the author of the book Whispers Overheard, which has been adapted into a play, and the writer of published music entitled Grateful Praise. As a third-generation minister, Dr. Glover loves ministry and is committed to the transforming power of the Gospel. One of her mottos is, “I am in the business of putting myself out of business.”
Inspirational Speaker and Special Guest Sue Duffield
Sue’s best loved song, “LOL”, is a musical and whimsical view of our crazy acronym and texting social media world. She loves to make people laugh with her off-the-wall Jersey logic and sacred sarcasm. Not surprising, Sue has found it’s a style of humor that resonates with audiences everywhere. This singer/songwriter and former radio personality tours with her own comedy and musical concerts since 1974.
Brian & Lynette Smith
BRIAN and LYNETTE serve in partnership with Mission Maranatha Inc. to build sustainable ministries on the island of Hispaniola. They encourage existing ministries and seek creative ways to accomplish God’s vision as they build strong relationships in the community. Brian uses his developed skills in business management to teach budgeting and step-by-step goal achievement. Lynette utilizes her skills as a doula to accompany and listen to the stories of community members. Both empower people to be holistically well in mind, body and spirit and reach out to others in ways that speak love, preserve dignity and create unity as the body of Christ.
